Gledhill Constructions has won the [2005] Horbury Hunt Award for Excellence in Brickwork for the Pymble Ladies College project which utilised over 60,000 bricks in over 33 special sculptured shapes. The project was designed by PMDL Architecture & Design.
The Horbury Hunt Award was created to honour the work of John Horbury Hunt, an architect who established a reputation for magnificent clay brick buildings. In the Pymble Ladies College project, a new building was linked with the original 1916 building with the architecture of the time replicated.
This award-winning project showcases both the beauty of clay bricks and superb brick laying skills.
